Come and enjoy one of our full or half day trips. We will supply your tackle, rain gear and lunch on a full day. Fishing licenses can be obtained from your guide.

Your guide will bring both fly and spinning tackle, the choice is yours.

Guests troll or cast with flyrods from our comfortable 21-foot cedar strip freighter canoes, hand-built by Currie's Guiding.

These canoes are designed to be especially stable so that you can stand in them without fear of tipping.

Most of our trips are taken on magnificent Maligne Lake which offers a variety of fishing opportunities, from trolling to nyphing and casting.

Maligne Lake is 22 km long and is nestled between snow-capped mountains. The breathtaking scenery includes a number of glaciers and waterfalls along with turquoise waters found only in the mountains. Medicine Lake (the disappearing lake) is spectacular and has the longest underground drainage system in the Western Hemisphere.

Talbot Lake is a shallow, scenic, clear water lake, a short distance from Jasper. The pike fishing there is unique as it allows you to spot fish before you try to catch them. You often see them stalk your fly and hit it. This is an exciting way to fly or spin fish. Expect lots of action.

Dry fly fishing turns on in the fall when Medicine Lake empties into a single channel. The Maligne River also produces well in August and September.

Our rivers produce best in spring and fall, due to the high silt levels in summer.

Reserve now and let Currie's Guiding provide you with your ultimate alpine fishing experience!
